Peacetalk, eine private Organisation zur Unterstützung von Friedensprozessen, wurde 2002 von Dr. Franz Klug, Ranjith Lochbihler und Gunna Wendt gegründet. Die Finanzierung erfolgt über die eigene Projektarbeit und gegebenenfalls über öffentliche und private Unterstützung. 

Peacetalk, a non-govermental peace-process support organization, was founded in 2002 by Dr. Franz Klug, Ranjith Lochbihler and Gunna Wendt. Peacetalk is financed by its own work and by public and private support.

Unser Ziel ist es, Friedensprozesse, Demokratisierungsprozesse und die Umsetzung von Minderheitenrechten mit gezielten Projekten zu unterstützen.

Dr. Franz Klug

Geboren 1956, Graz, Österreich. Studium der Pädagogik, Psychologie und Philosophie in Innsbruck, Dr. phil. 10 jährige Tätigkeit als Abgeordneter im Tiroler Landtag. Arbeit in verschiedenen Ausschüssen und Organisation von Ausschüssen und Konferenzen im Bereich des Umweltschutzes, Föderalismus, Minderheitenrechte und entwicklungspolitische Veranstaltungen. Seit 2000 in München, publizistische Tätigkeit im kulturellen und politischen Feld. 

Born 1956, in Graz, Austria. Studying Pedagogy (Education), Psychology and Philosophy in Innsbruck. Ph.D.  Ten years working as Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tyrol. Working in several committees  of the Legislative Assembly of Tyrol and organizing committee meetings and conferences on environmental protection, federalism, minority rights and development planning. Since 2000 in Munich,  working as publicist in the political and cultural field.

Ranjith Lochbihler

1950 Sri Lanka, Ranjith Henayaka Arachchi. 1980 Emigration nach München.

Mitbegründer und Leiter des Dritte Welt Zentrums München. Bildungsreferent zu Themen der Nord-Süd-Problematik. Veranstalter und Mitveranstalter von verschiedenen Treffen und Kongressen über die Situation in Sri Lanka. 1993 Übersiedlung nach Genf, Beginn der publizistischen Tätigkeit. Seit 2000 in Berlin. Vorsitzender des Sri Lanka Kreises e.V. Berlin. 2001 Vorsitzender des Rats für Migranten Berlin Pankow.

Founded with other third world groups the Third World Centre Munich, and worked for several years as head of this non-governmental institution.

Co-organizer and supporter of several meetings and discussions concerning the current situation in Sri Lanka and strategies to solve this conflict.

1993 moved to Geneva and started work as a publicist. 2000 moved to Berlin.

2001 Chairman of the Council for Migrants in Berlin-Pankow.

Gunna Wendt

Geboren 1953, Jeinsen bei Hannover, Deutschland. Studium der Soziologie und Psychologie, M.A. Seit 1981 in München als freie Publizistin. Zahlreiche Buchveröffentlichungen, Radiosendungen, Vorträge, Moderationen und Ausstellungen, darunter "Fremdworte" Schreiben und Leben - Exil in München (2000).

Born 26.1.1953 in Jeinsen, near Hanover, Germany. Studying at the University of Hanover, Magister (M.A.) in Psychology and Sociology.

Many  publications, lectures, editing own radio programme, moderations and cultural exhibitions, for example "Fremdworte" about writers in exile in Munich (2000).
